Phonic Moves 4 (Subsonic Disco Acid Trip) by DJ Cherokee

Inspired by Lucy who played me a copy of Eastern Edits Vol. 1 that I instantly loved as soon as I heard it. I knew I wanted to put together a disco/afro house mix and the acid line in that track ended up taking me on a journey back to the sounds of some of my early acid house experiences and recollections.

Back in the latter 80's and early 90's when I started clubbing and then began to DJ in Manchester and around the North West, I established a deep relationship with all forms of house music. I picked up some new tracks again recently that share this vibe and put together a journey that starts disco/afro then funky house and into acid/electro breaks.
