Late Night at Lucy's by DJ Cherokee
Spending time winding down after a great day with pals eating, drinking, messing around at a day festival and then listening to some tunes back at Lucy’s. Having completely missed the opportunity to do a DJ set with some of the vinyl I had with me - I guess this reflects what I might have come up with given the latest bunch of vinyl I had recently bought (props to Phonica Records). The mix starts as a mostly straight-up house affair, heading deeper, then toward disco/funk vibes before levelling out and drifting into some hypnotic tones for the early hours…
